3D Printing technology
Large scale 3D printing allows us to rethink how boats are built. This technology makes it possible to use material with maximum efficiency, where every strand of filament has a purpose and any remainder can be reused. Instead of cutting away and wasting resources, we print directly with recycled composites sourced in the Netherlands. The material is fully circular, which means that every Van Plaggen hull can be given a second life, transformed into something new when its time on the water is done. This process reduces waste, improves efficiency and makes every Van Plaggen part of a smarter production cycle.
